Bereits sechs meiner Fave 80s Albums auf den Plätzen 524 und schlechter.
Unglaublich.Daß ich mit „True West – Drifters“ und „Danny & Dusty – The Lost Weekend“ der Einzige sein könnte, kommt nicht überraschend.
Daß aber „The Dream Syndicate – Medicine Show“, „Robyn Hitchcock – I Often Dream of Trains“, „Nikki Sudden / Dave Kusworth – Jacobites“ und „Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – The Firstborn Is Dead“ außer bei mir offensichtlich bei keinem anderen der 86 Teilnehmer in den Top 20 sein würden, erstaunt dann doch.--

Schade, dass Life’s Too Good mit nur einer Nominierung auf Platz 20 so bescheiden abgeschnitten hat. Und die stammt nicht einmal von mir. Ärgert mich gerade ein wenig, dass dieses heute noch immer so schön frisch klingende Album bei mir damals knapp rausgefallen ist. Wäre heute wohl anders…

Ganz ohne Excel (zumindest die Excel-Funktion von LibreOffice) mache ich es dann auch nicht. Für die Gesamtliste verwende ich diese Funktion schon. Da jedoch meine Skills mit diesem Programm sehr überschaubar sind, passiert hier auch vieles manuell. So füge ich jedes Album einzeln in die Tabelle ein, ergänze die Jahreszahlen sowie Nennungen mit den jeweiligen Punkten. Das Programm hilft mir lediglich dabei, die Punkte auszurechnen und nach Gesamtpunktzahl und Jahr ordnen zu können. Auch das Übertragen der Gesamtliste ins Forum benötigt seine Zeit, da ich für jedes Album den Rang und die Werte in den eckigen Klammern ergänzen muss. Und selbst wenn die Zeit da sein sollte, ist nicht immer die Motivation vorhanden, mehrere Stunden am Stück auszuwerten und zu ordnen. Deswegen bin ich auch nicht der Schnellste vom Dienst.
