Ich mache gerne den Anfang, nachdem ich inzwischen durch den ein oder anderen Neuzugang sogar bei 501 Alben angelangt bin, die mit einer Bewertung von mindestens ****1/2 in einem Ranking zusammengefasst sind. Nachdem ich seit Spätsommer letzten Jahres auch die anderen Alben der Liste nochmals gehört habe, muss ich als Nebeneffekt auch in den einzelnen Jahrgängen den überwiegenden Teil der Top Ten, nämlich in 46 von 56 Jahrgängen, korrigieren. Darum kümmere ich mich später.
Im Vergleich zu meiner letzten Top 100 aus 2012 habe ich etwas strenger bewertet, so dass 9 Alben, die damals noch Höchstwertung hatten, heute noch bei sehr guten ****1/2 stehen. Insgesamt haben von den 500 Alben die ersten 118 Alben die Höchstwertung von *****.

Das ist ja nun viel guter Stoff auf einmal. Ich picke einfach kurz schon mal was heraus. Echo & The Bunnymen und die Tonight’s The Night von Neil Young finde ich schon recht überraschend (keine Wertung!) in den Top 10. Die Harvest würde ich viel weiter vorne sehen. Ed Romanoff, Dein letztjähriges Topalbum hat es auf Anhieb auf 157 geschafft. Ein Freund des Reggae und des Prog und Artrocks, wenige Ausnahmen, bist Du offensichtlich nicht. Auch Fleetwood Mac zählt wohl nicht zu Deinen Vorlieben. Schön, dass Nektar’s Remember The Future Berücksichtigung gefunden hat. Das soll’s mal vorerst gewesen sein. Wäre froh, wenn ich schon mal eine Top 100 zusammen hätte.

Genau! Dann hänge ich nur noch vor dem CD- Player / Plattenspieler herum und gehe meine Listen durch. Das artet dann noch in Arbeit aus…
Mir ist es persönlich auch ziemlich wumpe, ob ein Album auf 368 oder 369 ist.Im Prinzip könnten die Listen-Freaks ihre gesamte Sammlung in eine Reihenfolge bringen. Das wäre dann mal vollständig. Also für dich eine Top 12.000

Folgende erste Anmerkungen nach dem ersten Durchscrollen:
1.
Schön, dass Axis: Bold As Love so stark wegkommt. Die Scheibe wird in Hendrix Gesamtwerk völlig unterbewertet. Mit dem großen Abstand zu Electric Ladyland, seinem vermeintlichen Meisterwerk, das ich als viel zu zerfahren empfinde, gehe ich vollkommen d’accord.2.
Erstaunlich finde ich, dass Bringing It All Back Home im Vergleich zum Rest der von Dir hochgeschätzten „Elektrischen Trilogie“ so weit abgeschlagen auftaucht.3.
Als großartig empfinde ich Deine Würdigung von Izzy Stradlin‘ & The Ju Ju Hounds.More to follow…

Drei Punkte für Dich, Börschje-Mozza:
a) Ich bin noch lange nicht in Rente.
b) Mir langt eigentlich meine TOP1.000, die ich seit fast 20 Jahren habe.
c) Ich habe auch manche schlechte, ja schwache Alben in der Sammlung, die dafür nicht taugen.
