Hier habe ich nur auffallend wenige Alben aus deiner Liste in meiner Sammlung, nämlich lediglich 5.
1989 war ein ausgezeichnetes Jahr für Mainstream-Pop der gediegenen Sorte und dementsprechend reichlich habe ich mich damit eingedeckt (wohl gemerkt erst viele Jahre nach 1989).

Das kann ich dir sagen, mein lieber Freund: Mystery Girl, Results, Full Moon Fever, Sleeping With The Past, But Seriously, Road To Hell, Storm Front.

Außerdem mag ich noch sehr Velveteen, Automatic und Welcome To The Beautiful South, Avalon Sunset, Oh Mercy.. würde diese Alben aber nicht als gediegenen Mainstream-Pop bezeichnen.

Und mit kleinen Abstrichen: Flowers In The Dirt.

Like A Prayer habe und schätze ich auch. Bin Madonna-Fan von ihren Anfängen bis zu Ray Of Light, danach nur noch in geringerer Dosis.
Aber Like A Prayer packt mich als Album im Ganzen nicht so. Highlights ganz klar: „Express Yourself“, dann „Like A Prayer“ und „Cherish“.
