Deine 100 Lieblingsalben der 90er

ediskiHabe auch schon gemerkt, dass es in der Top 100 wenige Überscheidungen mit euren Listen gibt. Hatte erst überlegt, meine komplette Dekadenliste einzustellen. Da hätte es wahrscheinlich mehr gemeinsame Titel gegeben. Aber die Liste wäre mehr als 750 Titel lang gewesen, und dann wären wieder Hunderte Titel unbekannt geblieben.
Wie diese unterschiedlichen Hörwelten zustandekommen, weiß ich nicht genau. Auf jeden Fall war ich zu jung für die Pop-Generation der 1960er Jahre. Meine musikalische Sozialisierung begann erst mit dem Umbruch zu Beginn der 1970er Jahre. Damals hatte ich mir bereits verschiedene Stilrichtungen herausgepickt, die im Grenzbereich zwischen den Feldern Jazz, Rock und Folk lagen. Die New Wave Ende der 1970er ist dann größtenteils an mir vorbeigegangen, wodurch wahrscheinlich zahlreiche eurer Favoriten in meiner Liste fehlen. Wenn ich mir aber die anderen Listen in diesem und jenem Thread ansehe, sind geringe Anzahlen von Übereinstimmungen in den oberen Bereichen aber nicht so außergewöhnlich.

Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn du ab und an mal eine Sendung auf Radio StoneFM machen könntest, um uns in deine Hörwelten einzuführen, @ediski.

In diesem Jahrzehnt sind es aktuell 353 Alben, die den Cut geschafft haben, im Vergleich zu 247 Alben in den Sixties, 586 Alben in den Seventies und 272 Alben in den Eighties.

Auch hier sind Live-Alben enthalten und auch solche, die erst wesentlich später erschienen, aber Musik enthalten, die in diesem Jahrzehnt aufgenommen wurde.

@firecracker: Danke für den Hinweis. Zunächst hatte ich einen Knoten im Kopf und Du hast mich verwirrt. Aber dann sah ich das Problem. Hätte mich auch gewundert, wenn ich bei einer solch umfangreichen Liste ohne jeglichen Fehler ausgekommen wäre. „Car button cloth“, mein liebstes Album der Lemonheads, bleibt auf Platz 127 und ab Platz 141 rücken alle Alben einen Platz vor und die Gesamtliste reduziert sich auf 353 Alben. Es tut mir leid um Deine Vorschläge, aber die Boo Radleys, die mit „Wake up“ ja vertreten sind, landen mit „Giant steps“ außerhalb dieser Liste ebenso wie Bert Jansch mit „When the circus comes to town“. Und bei Paul Simon in den Nineties bin ich blank. Seine beiden Alben aus dem Jahrzehnt überzeugen mich nicht.
