‚Simpatico‘ is out in April!
The Charlatans have announced that they will be releasing their ninth studio album in April.
‚Simpatico‘ was produced by Jim Lowe, best known for his work with Stereophonics and recorded at Hook End Manor Studios in Oxfordshire.
The album is due to hit the shops on April 10 and will be preceded by the first single to be lifted from the LP, ‚Blackened Blue Eyes‘ on April 3.
As previously reported on NME.COM, drummer Jon Brookes talked about the sound of the record in the band’s online studio diary at thecharlatans.net last year, saying: „The sound or vibe of the record is very true to the band, in as much as this time we’ve recorded the whole group together live. This in my opinion has made the band sound harmonious and it’s very strange that after so many records, to have chosen this, the oldest of techniques.“
Other tracks set for inclusion on ‚Simpatico‘ include ‚New York‘, ‚For Your Entertainment‘, ‚Road To Paradise‘ and ‚When The Lights Go Out In London‘.
