Lambchop – Hands Off Cuba – CoLAB
Lambchop is a band from Nashville, Tennessee who have been making and releasing recordings for some 10 odd years. Hands Off Cuba is a semi-reclusive ‚electronic duo‘ also from Nashville, who create musical constructions (and reconstructions) in their bedrooms and living rooms. Having heard some of the music created by Hands off Cuba, Lambchop asked the duo if they would be interested in putting together a short collaborative EP of music based on Lambchop recordings. In the same spirit of collaboration Lambchop would include a new track that was based on a Hands Off Cuba recording. The result is the CoLAB EP, some new, beautiful, thoughtful music proving that the music coming out of Nashville is more diverse than one might expect.
