Absolute Radio 70s Special: The infamous story of the Sex Pistols. Set against the backdrop of unemployment and recession the Pistols exploded on to the music scene in 1976. They, along with the Clash and Buzzcocks, spearheaded the Punk/New Wave movement, clashing with the establishment at every corner. Their notorious appearance on early evening live TV, along with a barrage of four letter expletives, saw them becoming public enemy number one. They were even mentioned in the House of Commons.
