AnnaMaxIch halte ‚Document‘ für eine der am wenigsten homogenen R.E.M.-Platten.

Ich wiederum sehe das Album noch ein Stück weit homogener als die meisten Alben der Band, wobei Homogenität ohnehin ein Markenzeichen ist, das die Alben der Band auszeichnet.

Die etwas geringere Wertschätzung, die das Album offensichtlich gegenüber Alben wie „Green“ oder „Lifes rich pageant“ geniesst, kann ich nicht verstehen. Mir ist das Album nach „Automatic for the people“ nach wie vor ihr Liebstes.
