Prosecutors say he used AI tools to generate hundreds of thousands of songs, uploaded them to streaming platforms, and then used automated programs to stream those tracks billions of times. Federal authorities charged him with wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and money laundering conspiracy. Each charge carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
