Little Anthony and The Imperials waren mir vor „Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis“ tatsächlich kein Begriff.
Eine Rhythm & Blues und Doo Wop-Gruppe aus New York City, nach ihrem Leadsänger Jerome Anthony Gourdine („Little Anthony“) benannt.
Ihre ersten Platten Ende der Fünfziger erschienen auf George Goldners End Label, bevor sie dann Anfang/Mitte der Sechziger für Don Costas DCP International Label aufgenommen haben.
