BRENNA MACMILLAN- Dear Life

Ein wunderschönes Country Folk Album aus Nashville mit Gastauftritten von Peter Rowan und Sarah Jarosz. Brenna in eigenen Worten: Dear Life is my first collection of music I’m offering to the world. I initially wrote a majority of these songs for myself, for my own personal healing, and now I’m so proud to be able to share them with everyone. I hope Dear Life will be the first of many collections going out into the world.

Ziemlich abgefahrene Stereo-Aufteilung („Full Dimensional Stereo“), die Musiker sitzen gefühlt mehrere Meter auseinander. Für mich sein bestes Album, inklusive dieser Version des „Cocaine Blues“, die klingt als wäre es die Begleitmusik einer Tom & Jerry-Folge:
