Aktuell auf Platz 122 in meinem All-Time-Ranking. Ich liebe dieses Album. Es vermittelt mir eine ganz besondere Stimmung. Drei der fünf Neil Young-Tracks würde ich auf einer „Best of Neil Young“ unterbringen können. Selten hat Neil Young Songs geschrieben, die so hell daherkommen. Auch die Beiträge von Stephen Stills gefallen mir gut bis sehr gut. Und die Band mit Jerry Aiello, George Perry, Joe Lala und Joe Vitale spielt ausgezeichnet.

Ist ja gut. Habe mir den Song nochmal separat angehört und erhöhe um einen halben Stern auf ****1/2. Vielleicht wird’s ja irgendwann mal ein *****er. Das Songranking steht ja auch noch aus und mit ****1/2 geht’s zumindest in die erweiterte Auswahl. Auf die Gesamtwertung von Long May You Run hat dies keine Auswirkung, aber immerhin ein kleiner Platzierungswechsel von 16 auf 14.
