Mit den ersten beiden Plätzen komme ich klar. Zooropa  und Pop haben so weit oben aber nix verloren. Dafür kommt No Line on the Horizon viel zu schlecht weg. Aber die Geschmäcker sind halt verschieden.

annamax Zooropa und Pop haben so weit oben aber nix verloren. Dafür kommt No Line on the Horizon viel zu schlecht weg.

Bei „Pop“ und „Zooropa“ gehe ich mit. Die rangieren auch bei mir im U2-Ranking weit hinten. Zu schlecht weg kommen hier für mich allerdings eher „All that you can’t leave behind“ (meine Nr. 5) und „War“ (meine Nr. 3).

Für mich beginnt ihre beste Phase mit The unforgettable Fire und geht bis einschließlich Zooropa, die ja leider allgemein völlig unterbewertet wird. Alles davor und danach ist allerdings auch mindestens OK.

Die Platte habe ich ewig nicht komplett gehört, aber in meiner Erinnerung ist nur Helter Skelter ein deutlicher qualitativer Ausreißer nach unten. Ich „muss“ jetzt erst mal ins Kino, Wochenendrebellen schauen,  aber vielleicht schaffe ich es danach, das Album noch einmal aufzulegen.
