Mark Oliver Everettwarum das? ich persönlich hab an dem album in letzter zeit grossen gefallen gefunden.

„Filles De Killimanjaro“ ist für mich eine halbherzige Platte, die zwischen den Stühlen des akkustischn Quintetts und dem halbelektrischen Quintett steht. Ob sie allerdings schlechter ist als „Miles In The Sky“, müßte ich überdenken.

„Sorcerer“ habe ich heute bestellt und es werden natürlich, wie bei Coltrane und Mingus, noch viele folgen. Mein Lieblingswerk von Miles ist die 8 CD Box „Complete live at the Plugged Nickel“. Kein anderes Werk kann einen mehr fesseln. Diese Spielaune ist unübertreffbar!
