talking headIch freue mich mit dir, gypsy! Ein wirklich grandioser Track! Ich kannte den Interpreten bisher noch nicht. Hast du eine Kaufempfehlung für einen Einsteiger bei diesem Interpreten?

Die beiden Specialty-Compilations decken sein frühes Schaffen vorbildlich ab, „Walking on a Tightrope“ aus den späten Sechzigern ist toll, auch die Compilation aus der RCA-Zeit („Blues Laureate“). Vermutlich leider alles nur etwas schwierig (und/oder gebraucht) zu kriegen. Eins der RCA-Alben gabs in einer dieser Sony-Boxen (25 Blues Albums oder sowas wohl) hab daraus mal einzelne CDs inkl. Mayfield für Kleingeld kaufen können.
