Ich weiss nicht, ob das nach den jüngsten Irrläufen des bekloppten Twitter-Besitzers noch sichtbar ist? Jedenfalls führt der Link theoretisch zu einem Tweet von Ted Gioia vom 29. Danke! Ne, seh ich nicht mehr und fühl mich grad auch nicht nach twitteraccount… In Hultins Buch gibt es in der Tat ein Kapitel über Rollins, das Foto ist auch auf dem Backcover und es wird erwähnt, dass es auch in Downbeat erschien…

Bei mir kam der Post oben erst so an, als wäre mit Gioia irgendwas nicht in Ordnung (Sperrung oder so). Besonders die ersten beiden Sätze, aber gemeint ist wohl doch der Besitzer von Twitter.

Steve McQueen mit seiner Plattensammlung … ich erkenne „The Atomic Mr. Basie“ (mitten vor McQueen), „Kind of Blue“ und darunter „Sketches of Spain“ (vorn rechts) und „The Modern Jazz Quartet At Music Inn — Volume 2“ vom MJQ mit Sonny Rollins (direkt dahinter vor McQueens linkem Fuss), „Sinatra–Basie: An Historic Musical First“ (das zweite der drei (halb-)sichtbaren schräg angelehnten).

Erkennt wer mehr? Ist das vorderste der schräg angelehnten ein Prestige-Cover (Logo oben links?) – vielleicht eins dieser Mit-60er-Alternativcover, das Foto sieht wie Coltrane am Sopransax aus.
