ich hörte mal wieder Mitschnitte + die „Influences“ mit ihr und stöberte herum, ob nicht vielleicht eine CD mit zweiter Klaviersonate von Ives (die „Concord, Mass. 1840-1860“) :D … oder anderes veröffentlicht wird… Sie sprang ja Anfang 2020 beim Suk-Marathon in der Berl. Philh. ein und die Aufnahmen Klavier solo und in versch. kammermusikalischen Besetzungen sind hervorragend.
So fand ich die Larcher-VÖ von 2014 und hatte sie mir bestellt. Inzwischen fand ich eine Kurzrezi (3min) und vieles mehr zum Liedzyklus. Werke von Thomas Larcher werden auch im Radio gesendet (zuletzt hörte ich 2020 ein Cellokonzert mit Alisa Weilerstein), aber auf Klavier erscheint er mir interessanter. „A Padmore Cycle“ (2014: prep.piano+voice) wurde 2017 orchestriert.

Argerich mit Prokofiev? Da ziehe ich mit Nr. 3 mit Abbado mit – das sollte gestern um 17 Uhr meine erste Musik sein, aber mitten im dritten Satz klingelte noch einmal das Telefon. Bis dahin war ich aber äusserst angetan. Und bis 8 Uhr wird mich jetzt heute bestimmt niemand stören, für Ravel reicht es danach auch noch.
