Sparks – Hello Young Lovers

Das 20. Album der Sparks erscheint in diesen Tagen. Es knüpft an die Stilrichtung von LIL‘ BEETHOVEN an, und damit auch etwas an den abenteuerlichen Sparks-Sound der 70er. Ob das gut oder weniger gut ist, das wird sich noch herausstellen. Fakt ist, dass das letzte Album meiner Ansicht nach besser war als zum Beispiel BALLS. Andererseits finde ich manches aus den 70ern dann doch überzogen (und ich verstehe durchaus Spaß).

Ein Stück der neuen Scheibe, „Perfume“, habe ich schon gehört. Klingt auf jeden Fall ungewöhnlich (typisch Sparks andererseits). Aber ob das dann auch „gut“ bedeutet, darüber bin ich mir noch nicht so im Klaren.
