Ist das Il Pergolese-Album wirklich so gut? Ich habe da kürzlich mal reingehört und bin vor Langeweile fast eingeschlafen.

Mir gefällt es sehr gut, ja, es ist sogar vom ersten Eindruck her noch etwas gewachsen.

Welche Parker-Box, die von AUM (bin ich halbwegs interessiert) oder die von NoBusiness (bin ich eher nicht interessiert)?

Die Kidd Jordan liess ich oben stehen, eins der Stücke ist ja ziemlich neu (2012), der Grossteil stammt aber von 2002 (im Trio mit Kowald) bzw. 2005 (Duo).

Und ja, ich bin generell von dem Label sehr angetan – aber ich habe mir auch die Dinge ausgesucht, an denen ich interessiert bin, es gibt andere Ecken des Kataloges, die für mich Neuland sind, in das es mich bisher eher nicht zieht … insofern überrascht mich nicht, dass mir die bisher gehörten CDs ausnahmslos gefallen, es freut mich aber (könnte ja auch eine Enttäuschung dabei sein … die mag noch kommen, ich habe noch nicht mal ein Drittel der neuen CDs gehört, konzentrierte mich mal auf diejenigen von 2013, damit sie in die Liste kommen). Ich habe übrigens – als letztes – so ein Gefühl, dass die Parker/Guy/Lytton noch etwas weiter nach oben rutschen könnte, mit der Zeit. Aber von dem Trio kenne ich leider bisher viel zu wenig, das ist an sich eher Musik, die ich im Konzert als auf Konserve hören möchte.

CD 5 daraus muss ich eigentlich ganz unbedingt haben … aber ob ich die ganze Box brauche, wenn ich die Band doch nicht so wahnsinnig mag … hmmm …
