Also „Bag`s Groove“ auf der Vorscheibe hat sofort diese Assoziation bei mir geweckt – ich kenne diesen Track mit Miles Davis, Milt Jackson, Thelonious Monk (!!!), Percy Heath und Kenny Clarke seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit, er ist sozusagen Teil meiner DNA …. Ich habe mir heute eine playlist mit Aufnahmen aus Miles‘ akustischer Phase (von Birth Of The Cool bis Filles De Kilimanjaro) zusammengestellt und Bags Groove, dieser 11:00 Minuten Ohrwurm, ist da natürlich enthalten. Ich kenne das auch seit einer Ewigkeit und manchmal ertappe ich mich, wie ich völlig unvermittelt das Thema vor mir herpfeife: „Da-daaah dada-dah dada-dah dada-daaah da …“
