The Chop is a free community contributed magazine/concert calendar which focuses on the independent live music scene in Berlin.
The Chop ist ein kostenloses Community-Magazin mit monatlichem Konzertkalender, das sich um die Berliner Alternativ-Live-Musikszene dreht.
You are all invited to get your own copy of the 4th issue, have a chat with us, and surely enjoy 2 local bands we love.
Shows start at 8PM and end at 10PM.
The Chop DJ Squad will take over for the rest of the evening.
Kala Brisella
The Berliner noise-rock trio used to be called Das Band but were forced to change due to another band who had beaten them to owning the name…no official statement has been made regarding the truth behind this story. It doesn’t really matter cos Kala Brisella are an absolute knock-out live band that leave most standing in amazement. They recently completed a German tour that ended up in Solingen which is the hometown of the KOЖMӐ Rec. label, who released their first EP entitled „Bilder“ :

Highest Sea
The haunted & dreamy folk songs Leila Sand composes are elusive yet comforting and bewitching stories that echo the human condition in all its frailty.
For her live performances, she collaborates with a drummer, which gives her raw and mystical vocals a new dimension.
