Paul Metzger lebt in Minneapolis und ist ein Banjo- und Gitarrenspieler, der ursprünglich aus der Punk/Post-Rock kommt und meistens auf seinem 21-saitigen Banjo spielt. Ragafizierte Exkusionen, zum Teil sehr aggressiv, dann wieder ruhiger, immer aber mindestens interessant, meistens herausragend. Ich habe „Deliverance“ sowhl als CD wie auch als LP, und das 31minütige Stück klingt auf Vinyl tatsächlich fantastisch im Sound.
Oder wie das Label (Locust aus Chicago) so schön schreibt:
