Hier meine Liste – mit allen schon angedeuteten Vorbehalten. Im Interesse eines breiteren Spektrums habe ich mich auf ein bis zwei Alben eines Musikers als Leader/Co-Leader beschränkt. Terje Rypdal, Derek Bailey und etliche andere hätte durchaus weitere Nennungen verdient, wieder andere (etwa John Surman, Barre Phillips, Steve Tibbetts oder John Stevens) tauchen unverdientermaßen gar nicht auf. Die von mir sehr geschätzte italienische Jazzszene ist leider gar nicht vertreten. Usw. usw. Alles in allem: eine sehr selektive und keineswegs in Stein gemeißelte Auflistung, aber dennoch eine, die meine musikalischen Vorlieben im Bereich des Jazz recht gut widerspiegelt.
