Danke für den Link, hochinteressant! Die folgende Frage habe nicht ich gestellt – aber da sie von mir sein könnte (siehe unser Gespräch hier im Thread), fühle ich mich vom „great question“-Lob geschmeichelt …
Also where do you research oral history and/or archival stuff? I bought your CD but I feel like I’m missing out on so much of the work without the texts and visuals? Any chance you’d consider a new sort of multimedia release or is that just the difference between the live performances?
That’s a great question. I have a lot of ideas abt that, There are some materials I’d really like to share with my supporters in a more concise release. I just have not decided how I’d like to do that. Just even a book of the photos/epehmera etc , so stay tuned! As far as research, I have done a lot of different things. Have exhausted online archives, regional libraries. Also filing away of oral histories that ive been tracking since i was a small child. Some of the ancestry oral history my mother and I were still talking about on her death bed. It’s hard to keep some of those stories straight. next year thanks to the jerome foundation I will be taking a 30 day trip down south to do some in person archival research in mississippi, tennessee and Louisiana.
