Wie auch „Self Portrait“ ist „Another Self Portrait“ ein Potpourri, nur auf höherem Niveau. Ganz toll sind v.a. die alternativen New Morning Songs. „Sign On The Window“, „New Morning“!! Meine Fresse. Auch toll „Spanish is the loving tongue“ und „When I Paint My Masterpiece“. Die Live Nummern mit The Band hätte es nicht bedarft, ebenso „Minstrel Boy“, der irgendwie nicht reinzupasst. Ebenfalls ganz famos und bisher bei immer untergegangen: Copper Kettle. Die beiden „Sadies“ hätte ich aber wieder nicht dringend gebraucht.
