Billy Bauers einziges Album, kann man das eigentlich fassen? Es ist toll, aber nicht überragend, was aber v.a. an der Band liegt, die adäquat aber nicht besonders toll ist – Milt Hinton/Osie Johnson agieren ohne Fehl und Tadel, aber überraschend oder gar aufregend sind sie nunmal nicht, auch wenn Hinton auch mal ein gutes Solo beisteuert … Pianist Andrew Ackers legt halt die richtige Akkorde
@asdfjklö: danke, muss ich mal genauer anschauen, auf den ersten Blick würd ich mal vermuten, dass bei Dragon auch dabei ist (ich habe die Reihe allerdings noch nicht vollständig, aber die Infos findet man wohl auch online).
