Ich gehöre ja auch zur Fraktion, die Alice eher misstrauisch beäugt – aber mit ihrer Rolle in Coltranes Musik habe ich mich ausgesöhnt. Tyner hätte nicht mehr reingepasst, seine musikalische Reise ging anderswohin (und wurde – leider? – zu einer bewahrenden). Alice‘ eigene Alben sind gelinde gesagt ein „mixed bag“, aber manches finde ich schon sehr toll!
