Das Lovano-Frisell-Motian Trio zählt bestimmt zum feinsten aus Frisells Werk, zumindest von einem strikten Jazz-Standpunkt… aber ich hab davon eine bisher eher zufällige Auswahl… die anderen Motian-Scheiben (die ich in der Soul Note-Box habe) sind auch toll. Bass Desires ist eine tolle Lärm-Attacke, muss man möglichst laut hören… von den eher zufällig zusammengewürfelten Leader-Alben ist wohl „Good Dog, Happy Man“ meine bisher liebste… die ECM-Scheibe mit Wheeler mochte ich damals ganz enorm gerne, heute höre ich sie nur noch selten und eher wegen Konitz… und die Jenny Scheinman-CD lege ich später noch auf!
