Taken from previously unreleased recordings, this series covers much of the repertoire performed by the legendary „Louis Hayes-Woody Shaw Quintet“ in 1976-77 with Junior Cook on tenor sax, Ronnie Matthews on piano, Stafford James on bass, and Louis Hayes on drums.
