So I’m happy to report that the artwork is printed for our project and LP jackets will be delivered to me next week to get copies signed for those of you who ordered that option. In addition I’m thrilled to say that one of your fellow contributors, Julien Palumbo from France who has a marvelous label called Improvising Beings had commissioned me to go back in to the studio last week with Giuseppi. We had a wonderful time and Giuseppi played his butt off. I mean like he was 30 again. Very, very inspiring which shows that maybe all of the support you’ve provided really moved him. Julien tells me he’s planning on releasing this recording in Dec. of this year on CD and we may try to get some pressed here in the States on vinyl. So please let’s give a wild round of applause to Julien!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In addition, Michael Reilly of Portraits of Jazz will be providing the cover art, once again as he’s also done our project art as well. Three cheers for Michael!! Hip, hip hooray!!!!!!!
Anyways, that’s the news for now. I’ll keep you posted when we’re ready to ship you the finished product. Thanks again for all your support. It’s clearly obvious it means a lot to Giuseppi. It’s great to have him back.
