Ich würde eher nach weiteren früheren Aufnahmen schauen … „We Free Kings“, „Domino“, das Album mit Benny Golson Arrangements, die Live-Aufnahmen aus Copenhagen, das eine Argo-Akbum mit Ira Sullivan … und bei den Atlantics dann wohl mal die Live-Aufnahmen „I, Eye, Aye“ und dieses Doppelalbum … „Blacknuss“ und „Volunteered Slavery“ sind wohl eher die Kirk-Einstiegsalben für Rock-Hörer 
Auch sehr empfehlenswert ist das 3CD-Set „Dog Years in the Fourth Ring“ mit raren Live-Aufnahmen und dem klasse Solo-Album.
