gypsy tail windDer Posaunist klingt für mich ganz enorm nach Julian Priester, bin also einigermassen beruhigt, dass er unbekannt ist und ich zumindest nicht falsch lag…

sowie: „There have been suggestions, apparently coming from drummer and historian Kenny Washington, that Teddy Charles is present on an LP by the vocalist Pat Thomas, recorded around 1960, for the Strand label (Jazz Patterns, Strand SL/SLS 1015). The liner notes by Mort Goode do not provide personnel. Washington has suggested that the accompanying musicians include Booker Little (t), Curtis Fuller (tb), Roland Alexander (f, ts), Teddy Charles (vib), Kenny Burrell (g), Tommy Flanagan (p), Reggie Workman (b) and Charli Persip (d). Vibraphone is audible on three tracks: Star Eyes, Stella By Starlight and Almost Like Being In Love. It is possible that Charles is the vibraphonist but more information is needed before the personnel can be confirmed.“ link
