Miss Thomas apprarently died of a heart attack Tuesday in her Los Angeles, Calif., home.
Her hits included „One Note Samba,“ „Desafinado“ and „I Can’t Wait to See My Baby’s Face.“ She was nominated for a Grammy for „Desafinado,“ only to see Ella Fitzgerald later record the song and win the award.
