Thad Jones als Trompeter (im Gegensatz zu: als Arrangeur und Bandleader) ist viel zu wenig bekannt! Das United Artists Album „Motor City Scene“ ist kürzlich in Japan auf CD wieder aufgelegt worden, lohnt sich sehr!
