SOME KIND OF NOTHINGNESS ANNOUNCED AS NEW SINGLE
Manic Street Preachers announce details of a new single to be released on December 6th on Columbia Records. ‚Some Kind Of Nothingness‘, featuring the unmistakable voice of Ian McCulloch will be the second single to be taken from their tenth studio album ‚Postcards From A Young Man‘.

Front man and lead guitarist, James Dean Bradfield’s first gig ever gig was Echo And The Bunnymen at Bristol’s Colston Hall. James describes McCulloch’s vocal performance on the track as “extraordinary’’.

Nicky Wire, the band’s commander-in-chief, lyricist and bassist adds, ‘Given that it was James, Richey and Sean’s first gig, I think there’s something resplendent about the fact that he’s there singing on our tenth album. It’s about loss and the importance of grief”.

The single will be released on CD and 7” all featuring brand new tracks. A second CD will be available exclusively from the Manics Store replete with an exclusive track and for a limited number of pre-orders with a signed sleeve.

CD1: Some Kind of Nothingness; Broken Up Again; Red Rubber; Evidence Against Myself
CD2: Some Kind of Nothingness; Slow Reflections/ Strange Delays
