Sind auf dem De Franco/Peterson Gershwin Album (oder gibt’s noch ein anderes?) wirklich Streicher oder nur übermässig gepflegte Woodwinds und so? Jedenfalls kein wirklich tolles Album, finde ich…
Das von/mit Wallington sagt mir nichts, aber ich hab ja gestern grad mal wieder seine 80er Solo-CD von VSOP gehört – ein toller Pianist, fraglos!
McFarland… an dem kam ich bisher eigentlich immer ganz gut vorbei. Nur das Album mit Steve Kuhn habe ich rumstehen (die Verve LPR-CD, um genauer zu sein, ich hab ja zu 98% CDs).
