Hab jetzt grad Barry Harris‘ „Bull’s Eye“ wiedergehört. Dorham ist in der Tat ganz ok, aber so zwingend wie er seine Linien zehn Jahre zuvor konstruiert hat gelingt ihm das nicht mehr hier. Pepper Adams ist für mich wohl der herausragende Solist (auch auf „Luminescence!“, das ich zuvor hörte).
