Slash Announces ‘World On Fire’, New Album Due Out 9/16
World famous guitarist/musician Slash has announced plans for World On Fire, a new studio album from him, vocalist Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The LP, a foll0w-up to 2012′s Apocalyptic Love, is the second complete album from Slash and his new backing band.
World On Fire features 17 new recordings, including an instrumental. The title track/lead single will be debuted on June 13, so stay tuned for that.

Said Slash on the album’s title:
To be literal about it, we have the global warming thing. But that’s not the catalyst for the title. “World on Fire” is more of a tongue-in-cheek, positive, fun thing– it has a lot of sexual connotations in the actual song itself. It’s a euphemism for going a little bit crazy and pulling out all the stops.
