bullschuetzIm übrigen: So stark ich vieles von der Band unter Wesley finde (vor allem seine Bläser-Arrangements sind zum Teil ausgesprochen ausgefuchst, pfiffig und durchaus nochmal innovativ) – diese Besetzung hier und danach die Bootsy-Band finde ich insgesamt eine Nummer größer.

Was die Band unter Jones/Ellis den Nachfolgern an sophistication voraus hatte machte die Bootsy-Band durch ihre unbändigen, rohen Grooves wett!
