Danke für den Tipp – ich hab schon befürchtet, dass „It’s a Mother“ noch auf die Einkaufsliste muss, nachdem ich vor ein paar Tagen mal ein wenig bei Allmusic nachgelesen hatte… klingt right down my alley!
Sherrell hat später ja mehr Keyboards gespielt als Bass – fiel mir auf im Booklet der 1975-83 Compilation von Brown, Dead on the Heavy Funk.
Aber soweit bin ich noch nicht mit (Wieder)Hören… zuerst kommt jetzt die Zeit von 1070/71 mit den JB’s und dann hoffe ich, dass bald Make It Funky – The Big Payback, 1971-1975 erhalte!
