Ich hätte nie gedacht soviel Feedback auf das Mackenzie Special zu bekommen und ich hatte vom Gefühl das Joy Divison Special die Woche vorher als besser empfunden.
Wenn ich neue Hörer für diesen großartigen Sänger gewinnen konnte, ist alles erreicht.
Zudem habe ich habe mir die Kritik von „Wild and lonely“ zu Herzen genommen und natürlich ist auch dieses Album eine Garant für Qualität. Deshalb folgte in der gestrigen Ausgabe zumindest mit dem Titelsong + Anmerkung zum Rolling Stone Forum noch eine Würdigung dieses Albums.
Gibert und ich schicken uns die Tage Billy Raritäten zu, was will man mehr. Vorher kannten wir uns selbstredend nicht.
Wer die Musik von Billy Mackenzie schätzt, hat einfach Geschmack. Mit „Beyond the sun“ ist so ein untergegangenes Meisterwerk erschienen, dass jeder neue Hörer wichtig ist.
