Can you believe it??
I was totally bummed – we got the final jackets to approve, and, lo & behold, the spine printing on LA Woman was shifted from the spine about a half-inch so it was running vertically up and down the back cover.
A VERY small detail – one most people would not have even noticed – but, we set out to faithfully reproduce the exact artwork and packaging, and this was not a faithful reproduction.
So – we rejected them. All 12,500 of ‚em. Unfortunately, the next production run and street date would take us to 4/22, but we had no choice – it’s do it right or don’t do it at all, we feel.
I apologize for the delay, but we wanna get them right. In the meantime, if any of you preordered them and want refunds, I will get your money back for you if you PM Clash here on the boards (Cory Lashever in my office) in the next two weeks.
Fair enough? And sorry again for the delay – couldn’t be helped.
