Lustig, wenn man sich den trailerso anschaut, scheint es, als würde von allen Schauspielern Cate Blanchett die größte Ähnlichkeit mit dem Original haben.
aber die Kritiken sind nicht nur positiv:
If you don’t know much about Dylan, the constant jumps in time, place, and actor are disorienting. This doesn’t need to be a „story“ film — if it wants to be a character study, that’s fine. But who is the character? By all appearances, these are totally different people in totally different circumstances. We jump from Blanchett’s stoned, philosophizing character to the musical stylings of the young kid to Richard Gere riding around on a horse. What ties them together? (Because it’s not the actors, the story, or the music.) A more solid thematic throughline would have helped make it a movie and not just a collection of short films.
