Nein, die Sphären von „Heartbreaker“ und „Gold“ erreicht Ryan Adams wohl nicht mehr. Schon qualitativ an „JCN“ und „Cold roses“ anzuknüpfen, scheint vom Songmaterial her schwierig zu sein.
Zunächst hatte ich dem Album knappe **** zugebilligt. Inzwischen höre ich es jedoch nur noch bei ***1/2. Für einige wirklich schöne Tracks ist Mr. Adams aber allemal noch gut.
