Ich will ja nichts mehr am Bild verändern, sondern das Bild möglichst so machen, daß es passt.

gerade gemacht, im Wohnzimmer bei normalem Glühlampenlicht / und unbearbeitet: Ein Baseball, in echt reinweiß.
Weißabgleich auf Kunstlicht:

Manuell ist auch nicht perfekt, aber deutlich besser als die Automatik.
