Thelonious Monk – Olympia 7 March 1965
Trema / Sony 710590 CB 701
Rhythm-a-ning (10:31); Body and Soul (2:46) – solo; I Mean You (10:52); April in Paris (1:19) – solo; Well You Needn’t (12:20); Bright Mississipi (9:06); Epistrophy (5:09) ;(March 7th, 1965 – The Olympia, Paris)
Thelonious Monk – piano. Charlie Rouse – tenor. Larry Gales – bass. Ben Riley – drums.

(Sony had problems with the packaging on this one – the CD is titled „Thélonious Monk“ but the personnel is listed as Jimmy Smith – Organ, Nathan Page – Guitar and Donald Bailey – drums. It also lists Satin Doll as one of the tracks.
There’s also a problem with the music, at least some of the tracks – Rhythm-a-ning, Body and Soul, I Mean You and April in Paris are from the April 18 1961 concert released on Riverside. It’s still great music but just be aware of what’s really on the CD)
