CuJis RamoneSorry, I don’t speak german, but I hope you can help me with my problem.
Born To Die In Berlin (from Adios Amigos) has third verse in German (sung by Dee Dee).
Does anyone know how it goes? I hope someone could listen and post those lyrics here because I really liked to play this song live someday. Danke :)
Dont know if you still come by at some time, but this lyric is definately not total nonsense. Dee Dee lived and grew up in germany. So its not total fantasy-german. It makes just as much sense as a lot of English Ramones lyrics. Its been told the lyrics were recorded through telephone.
Thats what I understand:
Küss mich jetzt, Mädchen
Es ist alles alt
Du kannst es lesen in der Morgenpost, ok
Der Winter wird wieder kalt werden
Und Berliner wollen (nach) Amerika
Vorgestern gestorben unter den weißen Blumen (Blüten? Blümchen?)
kiss me now, girl
its all old
you can read it in the morning post, ok
the winter is getting cold again
and the Berlins want to go to America
died yesterday under the white flowers (blossoms?)
