Damals gab es im Pop-Bereich eben noch nicht so viele wirklich herausragende Alben.

„Soul Station“ könnte dir gefallen, aber auch „Portrait in Jazz“ von Bill Evans. Beide kann man sich relativ leicht erschließen.
