10. Keri Noble: Let it rain
vom Debut-Album „Fearless“ (2004)
Keri Noble lebt in Detroit, Michigan. Diese Stimme hat mich vom ersten Stück an fasziniert, und mich mit ihren sehr persönlichen Texten zu befassen, war in jedem Fall ein Gewinn. Ich finde mich darin so oft wieder.
Eine zweite Platte wird demnächst nachkommen. Keri Noble hat das Label gewechselt und auf die Produktion mehr Einfluß als auf „Fearless“.
Auf ihrer Website schreibt sie:
„again, i find myself in the familiar place of walking out onto a ledge, away from what was maybe more comfortable in exchange for what might be more challenging and freeing. i could have given them another Fearless. i could have kept playing shows and doing everything asked of me, but i wasn’t happy. i couldn’t imagine doing another Fearless. that was a snapshot of then. i’m a different artist now.“
