gypsy tail windOkay, danke! Das war eigentlich das, was ich mit meiner zweiten Formulierung meinte. Was ist denn mit der alten Warner CD? Ich glaub fast, die habe ich auch noch irgendwo.
Soweit ich das bis jetzt nachvollziehen kann, findet sich auf der CD-Erstausgabe (1990) der Mix, der auch auf der Original-LP zu hören ist, allerdings ist laut Hoffman-Forum auch diese Ausgabe wohl nicht frei von Problemen:
That original CD sounds like it used an edit of the original tapes to create the gapless transitions between tracks. You can hear the EQ change dramatically between Dark Star and St. Steven.
Also, the Noise Reduction artifacts are terrible on the original CD. I can’t believe someone from the band approved it. Yuck.
